Poll for myself

Hi to all!

I can't connect to ET server i have this message in console :

Punkbuster client : failed to resolve etguidauth.evenbalance.com

I search on web for solutions but.... I find nothing.

I'm using Linux version 3.2.0-38-generic-pae (gcc version 4.6.3 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.6.3-1ubuntu5) ) #61-Ubuntu SMP Tue Feb 19 12:39:51 UTC 2013

I can post technical caracteristic of my computer, but I think it's useless.

I don't understand why yesterday, ET worked, and not today oO

I submit a sound problem :

First, my configuration :
Acer Ferrari 1000
AMD Turion x64
2go DDRam
graphic card : ATI Technologies Inc RS482 [Radeon Xpress 200M]
Audio device: ATI Technologies Inc IXP SB4x0 High Definition Audio Controller (rev 01)

System : Ubuntu Maverick meerkat 10.10 all update are done.

the problem : i have no sound on ET.
I have remove Pulseaudio, and install OSS. OSS work, but I steel have no sound on game. I've set system sound on OSS but...
I think I have try all solution found on the web/forums...

If anyone have an idea, he will be welcome in topic.

Hello at all

I'm new on server and haven't make some presentation.

So, my name is Benjamin, I'm 24 years old and i work for ministry of Justice. I'm living at Metz (N48.28/E6.25). I was gefreiter (is it right? (corporal)) in army until February of this year.  I connect to server as possible, often 1/day.
For people who's know me : I'll have a better ping in 2 weeks éhéh.

Hi all!

Since few days, when I am connected on DooC server, I have an enormous ping (500 to 999ms). I do not understand... I download at ~400 kb/s... I have set all parameter in hidden menu but nothing going better...

An idea?

I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, with the last version of ET.

processor : Turion 64b
graphic card : radeon xpress200m
Ram : 3gb

When I ping server on console, pong is about 50 to 60ms.
