1 v 1 Tournament DooC Server Tournament (for both member and non-members)

So Inferno and I stumbled on this idea this morning.

Well basically there are tournament maps that allow for 1 vs 1s. So every player registers and get put in a tournament tree. Each round gets completed and in the end there is a final and a winner/Champion.
I thought it would be fun to have some kind of forfeit. For example your xp getting reset when you lose or something simple however this is still up for decision so we might also just be playing for pride.
I suggested to Gauki that they could get a special level on the server saying Champion of DooC Server/Tournament. However he told me it was quite difficult to do so. It is an idea but not necessarily one that needs to be carried out.
An alternative is having a Hall of Fame/Honour listing all previous champions etc. We can have this tournament monthly and perhaps at the end of the year have a champions cup with a winner of every month, hoping it will vary from time to time and isn't dominated by one person :p.
Well let me know if  you like the idea and we can tweak the details and add other bits.

Rules

• All matches will be played in ETPro (suggest getting some practice as it is different from what we have now)
• Matches are a best of 3 rounds
• Classes Allowed: All
• At the end of each round one of the two players needs to take a screenshot of score

Weapon Restrictions:

• No Artillery or Airstrikes
• No Adrenaline

Once all players who want to participate have joined and applied to participate in the tournament a draw will be carried out.
If empty spaces exist for example there are 30 players but 32 spaces the two strongest players according the et.trackbase.net rating wise with get a bye/walkover to the next round.
Depending on how many people participate more than just two people may have a bye/walkover.
The draw will be with tournament brackets so people will progress from 1/8 finals to quarter to semis to final or 3/4 place match.


A map will be assigned at random to your match up. It may be any from the list mentioned above.

Timed Method
A time limit is set for the map (eg. 10 minutes). At the end of the 10 minutes the player with the least deaths wins that round.
Then the same procedure is used for round 2 and round 3 if necessary if there is a draw after 2 rounds.
In the event a draw occurs in the final round the player with the most total kills wins.

Kill/Death Limit
This will follow the last man standing principle. At the start you will have a certain amount of lives eg. 25.
First one to lose all their lives loses. The same is repeated for round 2 and 3 if necessary.

rather, I'd just play for fun and winning.

Also, I'd prefer etpro over anything else for this.

Some rules will have to be put in place (classes, weapons, etc).

I'd like to participate - given I have time at the date of execution.
